          26 August 2021, Bangkok - The Department of international Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, has organized the “Trade Logistics Symposium 2021” on the theme “Digital Logistics: The Answer to The Future” between 26 and 27 August 2021 which corresponded to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit’s policy to boost the service sector’s marketing potential and empower entrepreneurs. 
          The symposium has served as a forum for the exchange of logistics and international trade information, designed to equip entrepreneurs with useful knowledge on logistics business of today and tomorrow. The event was well received with more than 1,800 from Thailand and international participants from Myanmar, Singapore, Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom to name a few. 
           Mr. Ekachat Seetavorarat, Deputy Director-General of DITP said, “the Department has been organizing the Trade Logistics Symposium every year aiming to strengthen the entrepreneurs’ capability in dealing with everyday logistics service challenges and prevailing against future obstacles. Presently, technological competition has already prompted traditional logistics operations’ transformation into digital logistics operations. Participants in the two-day symposium have been updated on logistics digitalization and the future trends in logistics sector by world-renowned speakers. They, therefore, could apply knowledge to their businesses and excel themselves into leaders of the new logistics era.”
